Substance Abuse Therapy in Atlanta

DUI/ Clinical Eval- Each Atlanta substance abuse therapist at AFCC is a state approved Level I Treatment provider and evaluator.  Our evaluation will determine the specific level of care needed for each patient.

Outpatient Program – Our outpatient programs involve education and group process. These programs are a proven form of treatment that helps numerous patients deal with their struggles. A major focus of this program is on relapse prevention and learning healthy life coping skills.  Our counselors will review ways to live without substance abuse.   An evaluation with one of our licensed therapists will determine the specific level of care required.

Intensive Outpatient Program (I.O.P.) – Our I.O.P. offers a high degree of structure that promotes a profound analysis of the issues affecting group members.  Members of this program frequent more weekly sessions and may involve group, family and individual sessions to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Drug Screens – Members of these programs are expected to submit to random drug screens throughout their treatment. AFCC also provides drug screening, the administration of breathalyzers and 80 hour alcohol screens on a walk in basis for individuals not enrolled in programming.
