Atlanta Domestic Violence Therapy

This 24-week (state-mandated minimum) education group provides participants with information and practical tools to change violent behaviors.  Our Atlanta domestic violence therapy involves discussions about practicing negotiations, positive communication, time-outs, accountability, partnership, support and respect for self and others.

Our education curriculum is based on the Duluth Model and includes scenarios, which provide a focal point for group members to analyze intent, effect and power of abusive behaviors.  AFCC is a state-certified Family Violence Intervention Program.  We offer groups in the evenings and on Saturdays.
